Reporting to the Directors of Operations for Crouse Hinds and B‑Line, the incumbent will develop and implement maintenance strategies that ensure reliability and efficiency of manufacturing assets across 11 facilities. The role demands a proactive asset‑management approach focused on preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and equipment performance optimization, as well as building a high‑performing plant maintenance organization capable of operating in both heavy‑industrial and technologically advanced environments.
Key duties include creating and overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, managing the full lifecycle of assets from procurement through decommissioning, and using data‑driven methods to enhance performance while reducing costs. The leader will mentor plant and maintenance managers, provide training on the latest techniques, promote process standardization with manufacturing engineering, manage the maintenance budget, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaboration with production, engineering, and procurement teams will support overall operational goals, and the incumbent will establish and monitor KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (or eight years of maintenance‑management experience) and have at least ten years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, or maintenance, including seven years in plant leadership roles. A technical bachelor’s degree (e.g., engineering) with an MS or MBA is preferred, along with proven success implementing reliability‑focused maintenance strategies, a certified Black Belt, and proficiency with CMMS platforms.
