In this position you will drive commercial success for Master Lock by developing strong relationships with end users and distribution partners, serving as a subject‑matter expert in Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash Safety and security hardware. You will generate demand, deliver training, and support software and service offerings across industrial and commercial channels.
Key responsibilities include driving sales of Master Lock products, software and services, identifying and engaging end‑user customers through on‑site visits, and maintaining distributor relationships via joint sales calls and business planning. You will conduct training sessions and product presentations, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and use CRM tools to document activity and forecast opportunities. Additional duties involve supporting trade shows and events, managing the territory’s operating budget, and collaborating with internal teams on go‑to‑market strategies.
The Territory Sales Manager role is field‑based, covering the entire states of Indiana and Kentucky. Candidates must reside within this core geography and will travel roughly two overnights per week.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of field sales experience in industrial safety or security products, proven success selling through distributors, and strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office, the ability to travel regularly, work independently and meet or exceed sales goals are required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field and prior professional sales training.
Compensation includes a base salary range of $90,000 to $133,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus or role‑based sales incentive plan.
