Drive compliance of OSHA 1910 mandated PPE, HAZCOM, fall protection, lockout-tagout, etc. programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish company Environmental, Health, Safety, and Training objectives and goals.
Deliver First Aid/CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) training for the onsite first responder team.
Develop and implement EHS programs and best practices to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements as well as supporting inspections/audits.
Create training plans and curriculum that align with the department and individual business objectives.
Lead site EHS Committee, activities, and projects to enable a culture of excellence.
Collaborate with business leaders throughout the organization to develop and implement operations training curriculum.
Maintain updated internal and external EHS relevant systems requiring timely and accurate data entry, i.e., incident reporting system, safety data sheet application, etc.
Manage administrative functions necessary to track training completion.
Triage work-related injuries and illnesses and provide first aid treatment within OSHA guidelines.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Familiarity with OSHA first aid requirements and workplace injury triage
Certified First Aid, CPR, AED, and Blood Bourne Pathogen Trainer
Experience providing first aid and emergency response in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, Will accept work experience in place of degree
Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
3-5 years of EMS experience, training and EHS experience
Working knowledge of and experience with learning management systems
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with all levels of the organization
Experience working in a unionized facility
EMT-Basic or Paramedic certification
Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local regulations and reporting
