What you would be doing

Oversee site conditions to maintain general organization and cleanliness for the project
Update As-Built drawings in red as variances occur and notify the office
Update owner’s schedule bi-weekly
Provide and work with an effective 4-week look ahead schedule, weekly
Manage new site visitor safety training for subcontractors
Manage and monitor the work and progress of subcontractors to ensure contract compliance, quality, and adherence to the project schedule
Oversee job site safety & compliance with OSHA regulations and Cambridge safety plan.
Direct close out and punch list activities as necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Initiate chargebacks as appropriate
Review, verify, stamp, and log time and material labor tickets
Plan and run the weekly foreman meetings, collaborating between the office and the subcontractors
Assist project team in review and issuance of RFI’s and submittals upon request.
Complete detailed daily field reports for each day of work on the project, taking regular job photos
Liaison between the project owner, the office, the subcontractors, material suppliers, and inspectors
Maintain records of subcontractors’ toolbox talks

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Experience managing work crews, equipment utilization, material purchases, and subcontractors
100% travel as required by project, ability to go home once per month when traveling
PEMB, Waste industry and design-build experience is preferred
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
7+ years of experience in traveling superintendent role in commercial and/or industrial construction
Experience utilizing construction management software; Procore is preferred
Ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts, scope of work, drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Must be physically present onsite during construction and/or while subcontractors present
