The Role

Overview

Provide technical support and network setup for remote sites in Yorkshire/North East.

Tasks

-Be responsible for the setup and maintenance of remote site networks as well as the documentation of those networks -Work in line with Service Level Agreements delivering the requirements of Network Plus, ensuring that targets are met -Ensure that all network devices are configured in accordance with best practice security requirements and Network Plus build specifications and pre-tested -Comply with all systems, procedures and processes; so that the company and customer information is accurate -Liaise with the service desk to ensure that any support need is fulfilled whilst on the sites -Ensure that all hardware is configured and ready to deploy at sites in accordance with build specification and customer requirements -Work as part of a team to achieve results on 1st time fix whilst attending site -Help and support for all customers; taking time to ensure all customers’ needs are met and strive to exceed customers’ expectation levels through great service -Work closely with the service desk team and help by resolving and support issues whilst onsite at any of the remote offices -Deal with priority one incidents; escalating where necessary to 3rd line support and IT management -Keep current with the latest desktop and mobile and network technology
