Communicate with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to clarify design intent and technical details.
Prepare layout drawings, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
Assist with QA/QC of electrical drawings and BIM models.
Assist in generating as-built drawings at project completion.
Assist in creating material takeoffs, product data sheets, and equipment specifications.
Support senior engineers and project managers with design review, technical submittals, and shop drawings.
Participate in field walks to verify site conditions, collect data, and support installation planning.
Coordinate building system models with other disciplines to ensure accurate clash detection and resolution.
Develop, modify, and maintain detailed electrical models and drawings in Revit, including power, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
Collaborate with BIM teams to ensure all models meet company standards and project requirements.
Support commissioning activities, including reviewing test results and confirming final documentation accuracy.
Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, revisions, logs, and correspondence.
Attend project coordination meetings and track design updates, RFI responses, and meeting minutes.

Familiarity with electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, life safety, and low-voltage systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
1–5 years of experience working as an electrical engineer within the construction or design/build industry required.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto and BIM collaboration platforms.
Understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and typical construction practices.
