Project Engineer (Wastewater)

Description

• Mentor junior staff in preparing calculations, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and company growth objectives
• Contribute to internal engineering initiatives such as R&D, tool development, and process optimization
• Perform wastewater process engineering tasks to complete equipment and process designs
• Troubleshoot and monitor the performance of existing equipment installations, identifying improvements and solutions
• Create plan and detail drawings for equipment on assigned projects
• Develop project specifications, submittals, and related project documentation
• Assist with project bids, cost estimates, budgets, and field services
• Collaborate with internal teams, sales, vendors, and customers to devise innovative solutions

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in data and document management
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to support engineering initiatives from concept through execution
• Experience in wastewater treatment process design (lagoon-based treatment preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); AutoCAD required
• Strong organizational, verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with equipment such as PD blowers, controls, and related process appurtenances
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze and recommend design and fabrication options for wastewater process equipment
