Commissioning Manager

Description

You’ll work closely with the client’s senior team as they grow, influencing structure, process, and best practice for future projects across the UK and EU.

This is your chance to step into a pivotal role at the start of a multi-year programme of work, shaping delivery standards, culture, and performance on some of the most exciting technical projects in the pipeline.

As Commissioning Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end commissioning process on a flagship site in Somerset. You’ll oversee strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and client interfacing, ensuring systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and on schedule.

• Coordinating subcontractors, vendors and internal engineering teams
• Managing full commissioning lifecycle across mechanical, electrical and controls systems
• Helping shape commissioning standards and processes as the business scales
• Driving quality, safety, and technical compliance
• Managing risk, programme clashes and deliverables
• Representing the business at client, design, and contractor meetings
• Leading the Cx programme, documentation, commissioning plans and reporting

Requirements

• Strong communicator with a proactive, organised and delivery-driven approach
• Ability to manage multiple disciplines and drive structured commissioning programmes
• Proven Commissioning Manager with strong data centre, industrial, pharma or large-scale MEP experience
