As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for securely and accurately transferring data from legacy ERP systems to Deltek Vantagepoint. This role requires strong Microsoft SQL skills and a deep understanding of data structures, relationships, and strategy. You will work closely with the project team to plan, manage, and execute data migration projects.

  • Review and assess data to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with Operations to design, build, and customize reports using Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Reconcile data between legacy systems and migrated data.
  • Perform data analysis on legacy systems.
  • Understand and map data structures to ensure accurate data transfer.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Execute data migration in a production environment.
  • Create workflows in Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Thoroughly test the migration process.
  • Research and develop new technologies and tools related to Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Collaborate with project teams to determine data migration requirements.
  • Develop and implement migration scripts and procedures.
