Bookkeeper and Accounts Assistant

Description

• Support the Finance Manager with various financial tasks and reporting.
• Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data report
• Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements using XERO.
• Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Requirements

• Confident using Xero / QuickBooks / Sage accounting software (or equivalent)
• AAT qualification or working towards it is desirable but not necessary
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in the UK
• Proven experience in a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant role
