Route wiring cleanly through assemblies, enclosures, and vehicle upfits; secure with proper strain relief and protection.
Complete travelers, signoffs, and nonconformance tags; update rework notes accurately.
Follow 5S, ESD handling, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices; maintain a clean, safe work area.
Work around moving equipment, hand/power tools, and moderate noise.
Suggest improvements for standard work, tooling, and harness layouts (continuous improvement/Kaizen).
Collaborate with Installers, Fabrication, and Quality to resolve fit-up or routing issues.
Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires; assemble/loom wire harnesses per prints, schematics, and work instructions.
Install electrical components (switches, relays, LEDs/lighting, breakers, connectors, sensors) during final assembly.
Bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces or under/inside units to route wiring.
Stand, walk, reach, and use hands for 8–10 hours; lift/pull/push up to 40–50 lbs with or without accommodation.
Read/interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material (BOM), and installation travelers.
Perform continuity, polarity, and functional tests with DMMs and test fixtures; troubleshoot faults to root cause.
Meet daily production targets and takt time; escalate blockers promptly.

Knowledge of ISO/IPC/UL wiring best practices (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620).
1+ years wiring, harness build, or electrical installation experience in a manufacturing or upfit environment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing (5S, kanban, takt time, standard work).
Basic PC skills for work instructions and data entry.
Prior work on composite utility bodies or vehicle upfits is a plus.
Experience with 12V/24V DC vehicle or equipment wiring.
Comply with BrandFX and OSHA safety standards; use required PPE.
Proficiency with wire strippers, crimpers, heat-shrink, soldering (nice to have), multimeters, labelers, and torque tools.
Tolerance for adhesives, sealants, and standard shop chemicals (with PPE).
Ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics and follow standard work.
High school diploma or GED; technical certificate in Electrical/Industrial Technology preferred.
