Issue hot-work permits, confined-space entry permits, excavation permits, and other daily permits
Enter near-miss and observation cards into the company safety software
Deliver daily/weekly toolbox talks and new-hire safety orientations as directed
Coach foremen and craft workers on proper PPE use, fall protection, scaffolding, LOTO, and other high-risk activities
Support the Site Safety Supervisor during owner or OSHA inspections
Maintain safety bulletin boards, signage, first-aid stations, and fire extinguishers
Conduct daily job-site safety inspections and complete electronic daily reports
Immediately report serious hazards or stop-work situations to the Site Safety Supervisor
Assist the Site Safety Supervisor with incident investigations, evidence collection, witness statements, and corrective-action tracking
Verify subcontractor paperwork (safety programs, training records, insurance, etc.)
Participate in weekly subcontractor safety meetings and site audits
Track and order PPE and basic safety supplies for the site

Minimum 2–3 years of construction field safety experience (commercial, industrial, or electrical projects preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile safety apps (Procore, Safety Reports, etc.)
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check/drug screen
Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction card
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to coach/coach-up craft workers without creating conflict
Prior electrical or specialty contractor experience
Ability to walk large job sites daily, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
OSHA 500/501, CHST, STS-C, or First Aid/CPR Instructor
