Measures, calculates, and documents quantities of construction materials in accordance with designated procedures, formats, and computer programs
Provides support to construction project team for change order preparation and monitoring
Coordinates surveys, material testing, and sampling as required
As directed, prepares clear and accurate reports, diaries and photographs recording daily construction progress
Documents and informs appropriate representative of relevant observations, including the progress of the work, problems that develop and works proactively in identifying potential problems/issues
Reads and interprets project plans, specifications, permits, and other pertinent contract documents and exercise sound engineering and construction judgement
Verifies contractor's work and materials conforms to contractual requirements
Prepares and submits safety meeting documentation as assigned in a timely manner

A two-year Associates degree in relevant area a plus

Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Project
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities
Competent verbal and written communication skills
3-5+ years progressively responsible experience in construction inspection, or 6-8+ years of general construction experience
