Principal Instrumentation & Controls Designer

Description

• Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, construction teams, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the design lifecycle.
• Continuously seek and implement process improvements, technological advancements, and innovative approaches to enhance design efficiency and integrity.
• Assist in the development and review of final project documentation, incorporating client feedback and internal quality standards.
• Interpret and incorporate data from P&IDs, oneline diagrams, loop diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits and field verification to validate and update markedup drawings.
• Develop and deliver disciplinespecific instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs, drafting, and 3D modeling services in alignment with company standards, client expectations, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Apply recognized offshore and onshore design principles, standards, and practices in all aspects of I&C engineering.
• Utilize electronic document management systems (EDMS) to organize and manage design documentation.
• Support development of deliverables such as design drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, schedules, and material takeoffs.
• Ensure design output is timely, accurate, and within defined scope and budget.
