In this role you will analyze external contractor bids to ensure client value for money, create estimates and cost plans for key client developments, evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps, and maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates. You will optimize project costs against budget through cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates to increase client value, provide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages, and build trust and credibility with partners across the business. Supporting nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication is also essential.
Candidates must be willing to travel bi‑weekly to Lebanon, Indiana, or work full‑time on‑site there. You should have increasing levels of scope and responsibility as an estimator in a construction environment, with expertise in mechanical and piping scope. Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment are essential. You should enjoy managing your own priorities and deadlines while building strong relationships with team and clients.
