What You Bring

-Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience presenting to and influencing Senior Leadership, external regulators and unions. -Proven track record of implementing and managing injury prevention and injury management frameworks. -Strong understanding of both physical and psychological health risk management, including legislative compliance with WHS Act and Codes of Practice -Expert knowledge of Australian Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management legislation, with demonstrated application in injury management casework and framework development. -Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Allied Health, Occupational Health, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counselling or WHS) -High-level written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated by experience. -Extensive experience in WHS and occupational health management within complex, multi-disciplinary industrial settings (e.g. utilities, infrastructure, oil and gas) -Demonstrated strategic planning capability in health management and WHS program design, including involvement in safety maturity and cultural programs -Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing team performance, including development and coaching responsibilities.
