- Facilitating workshops to identify risks and controls to enhance Systems Safety, RAM, Human Factors implementation in design and delivery.
- Digitising systems engineering processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Identifying and minimising technical risks to projects using proven Systems Engineering and Assurance approaches throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.
- Engagement and close coordination with project leadership and stakeholders, including Design, Construction, Software, Environmental, and Sustainability subject matter experts, to ensure technical compliance and support safety case submissions.
- Leading Verification and Validation efforts program across the project, ensuring user needs are captured and met through design and related activities.
- Providing systems and safety engineering expertise for nationally significant Defence projects.
- Implementing machine learning and big data analytics to optimise the management of critical infrastructure.
- Generation of technical management plans, systems architecture, configuration and change management processes, and supporting integration and interfacing with external projects and stakeholders
- Delivering systems engineering and safety assurance support for transport and infrastructure projects in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne.

- Professional body membership, for example Engineers Australia, INCOSE / SESA (highly regarded)
- Australian Citizenship and/or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance (essential)
- System safety and assurance experience (desirable)
- Excellent communications, client management/stakeholder engagement (highly regarded).
- Experience within regulated industries / frameworks, for example; Defence, transport, nuclear, pharmaceuticals (desirable)
- Bachelor of Engineering / Science Degree.
- Experienced in the application of systems engineering tools, for example DOORS, MBSE tools (highly regarded)
- Systems engineering knowledge and experience (desirable)
