Director of Transportation

• Conduct yard visits, address driver questions and concerns about routes, loads, and schedules
• Represent the voice of the drivers—building trust, providing education, and fostering retention in a low-turnover environment
• Drive continuous improvement in routing, cost control, and driver engagement
• Ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations
• Collaborate with leadership to uphold one of the best safety programs in the industry
• Lead, coach, and develop the transportation team

• Class A CDL background preferred
• Experienced people leader with a track record of developing drivers into leaders
• Comfortable with technology and TMS platforms (Samsara experience a plus)
• Critical thinker who can educate drivers on efficient practices while maintaining strong culture and safety standards
• 5+ years in transportation management
• Strong knowledge of routing, cost improvement, and DOT compliance
