Tasks

-Help prepare and file compliance documentation and data protection notices. -Assist with legal research and collate information for case preparation. -Support the legal team in reviewing and identifying demands and other legal documentation which we receive to ensure they are allocated to the correct businesses for action. -Support the team in managing dispute matters, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all relevant documentation is filed and accessible. -Prepare, format, and file legal documents (e.g., contracts, dispute correspondence, compliance reports, data protection notices) and critical monthly reports. -Track contract milestones, renewal dates, and compliance requirements. -Liaise with our external panel law firms to ensure that our online legal portal is up-to-date and accurate. -Support the data protection team in maintaining compliance with GDPR and UK Data Protection Act requirements. -Maintain and organise legal files, ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible. -Liaise with internal and external parties regarding dispute resolution procedures and help identify and update internal advice notices. -Assist with the administration of commercial contracts and operational legal matters. -Support key projects by helping the legal team and other stakeholders track performance and key milestones, collating important documentation and following up on outstanding actions. -Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments for the legal team and key external stakeholders. -Support our Framework Agreement contracting process.

What You Bring

-Experience of disputes or contentious work is preferable but not essential. -Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (365, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word) and legal management software. -Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. -Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and data protection principles is preferable. -Ability to work in a time-critical environment and manage multiple priorities. -Previous experience in a legal or compliance administrative role (ideally within property, construction, or commercial law).
