You will analyse customer specifications to ensure that Hitachi Energy's Power Grids solutions meet all technical and structural requirements including foundations for HV/EHV switchyard equipment such as power transformers, reactors, switching equipment, gantries, and towers, as well as drainage systems, cable trenches, GIS building foundations, and office/storage building foundations.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
You will be able to review civil drawings and documents to fulfil the local country regulations.
You will lead and coordinate all civil design disciplines to facilitate an integrated 3D design as specified by the department's processes and relevant technical specifications.

You should have 5 to 7 Years of experience in Civil design of power plant/ substations and minimum 3 years of experience in substation design or Industrial structures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion, strong attention to detail.
You will understand the customer contract and its technical specifications, constructability and HSE aspects should be considered during the design development.
You hold a bachelor degree B.E./B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Civil engineering.
Must have knowledge in technology knowledge of Steel structure and reinforced concrete structures – Staad, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge required.
HVDC substation design knowledge shall be an advantage.
You have good knowledge of the relevant international Standards/Codes - British Codes (BS), Indian codes, ACI is a must have, other codes like Eurocodes, DIN, ASTM or equivalent shall be an advantage.
You will know the design principles and relevant internal guidelines/instructions.
