The Maintenance Worker installs, maintains, and repairs the facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles, and grounds. The role involves maintaining and repairing the physical structure of the facility to ensure safe and secure operations, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing machines and equipment, and installing or repairing electrical apparatus such as wiring or electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to the preventative maintenance plan and provide proper supervision and tracking of inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and at least two years of experience in general maintenance or construction. Equivalent technical or trade school courses may substitute for experience on a year‑for‑year basis. Preferred knowledge includes building construction and operation of building systems.
