As the primary AI leader for India, you will serve as a strategic partner to the North American AI team, ensuring the India center’s capabilities and roadmap align with the global AI strategy and overall business objectives.
You will develop innovative AI solutions that generate measurable client impact, own end‑to‑end delivery of AI/ML projects, proactively manage risks, and apply best practices in Agile, DevOps, and MLOps to guarantee scalability, reliability, and performance.
Building and mentoring a high‑performing, multidisciplinary AI team—including developers, architects, data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and operations specialists—is a core responsibility, along with implementing structured talent development programs and coaching future AI leaders.
As the senior technical authority, you will guide AI/ML architecture, model development, and data governance, stay ahead of emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, and prompt engineering, and foster a culture of rapid prototyping and experimentation.
You will act as the main point of contact for all India‑based AI delivery stakeholders, translate complex business requirements into AI‑powered solutions with strong ROI, and maintain strong relationships with product management, engineering, and business operations teams.
The role is part of the Data Science & Analysis family in India, requiring up to 25% travel and no specific clearance. It focuses on leading AI initiatives for Guidehouse's Intelligent Operations in India while collaborating with North American AI leadership.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, 20+ years of technology experience, including at least 5 years leading AI/ML teams, experience managing AI partnerships with cloud providers and startups, and a proven track record of delivering AI projects from proof‑of‑concept to production with measurable business impact.
Preferred candidates have experience in global consulting or IT services firms, strong negotiation and influencing skills, AI/ML or cloud AI certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), solid business acumen, and excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
