This is a full-time site-based role for a Consultant Site Engineer based in Plymouth. The Consultant will assist the Engineering team in managing the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project safely, on time and to the required quality.

Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built drawings’ and recording and testing of workmanship and materials.

Assist in providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.

Regular communication and reporting to multiple stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects, including coordination of subcontractors.

Assist in maintaining registers and ensuring safety and quality documentation.

Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances.

Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of site experience, including setting out and reinforced concrete

BIM / Digital including Autodesk

IT skills including MS Office

Due to the nature of the work and location, a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports can be considered for this role.

CSCS, SMSTS, TWS or TWC

Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practice.
