- Réaliser les études de conception de tuyauterie (Plans, isométriques, calculs de flexibilité, dimensionnement)
- Assurer un soutien technique aux autres chargés de projets lorsque requis;
- Déterminer les besoins spécifiques des projets, établir la portée des travaux et identifier les étapes et échéanciers de réalisation;
- Définir les matériaux, supports, accessoires et équipements en fonction des contraintes de procédé, de pression et de température.
- Adhérer aux règles et procédures qui assurent la santé et sécurité des employés et de l’environnement ainsi que la prévention des incidents de travail. De plus, dans une optique d’amélioration continue, être proactif dans l’amélioration des règles et procédures de santé, sécurité et environnement afin de prévenir les dangers potentiels reliés à votre travail.
- Pouvoir réaliser des analyses de contraintes sur la tuyauterie;
- Effectuer la coordination entre les différents intervenants;
- Évaluer le coût des travaux;

- Détenir un baccalauréat en génie mécanique;
- Rédiger des devis et rapports techniques;
- Minimum de 10 années d’expérience pertinente dans le domaine mécanique et plus particulièrement dans la conception de tuyauterie industrielle;
- Posséder une bonne connaissance du milieu industriel;
- Être membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Fournir une assistance technique lors des travaux de construction;
- Avoir une connaissance des logiciels Pipeflow, Plan 3D, Caesar;
- Maîtrise du français (parlé et écrit), bilinguisme un atout.
- Effectuer la conception et les calculs reliés aux besoins du projet;
- Vérifier la conformité aux normes et codes applicables (ASME, EN, API,etc).
- Soutenir le développement de l’équipe et de ses membres;
- La connaissance des vaisseaux sous pression est considérée comme un atout
- Bonne connaissance des codes de conception de tuyauterie (ASME B31.3, etc)
- Peut également être appelé à agir à titre de chargé de projets;
