Reporting to the Alliance Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for operational delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance across the three‑waters network. The role involves leading a team of frontline leaders to develop resource and workforce planning, group planning, and performance measures, and to direct programmes of work related to asset maintenance.
As a supportive leader, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety, quality assurance, standards, frameworks, and operational performance, ultimately enhancing outcomes for staff, client councils, and the wider community.
The ideal candidate comes from a similar operational background with experience leading large operational teams in civil construction or maintenance, strong procurement and commercial acumen, and a solid understanding of health, safety, and environment standards for a PCBU in high‑risk settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and effective financial planning, management, and reporting for operational programmes are also required.
This is a full‑time permanent senior leadership role based in the Wellington Region, working for Wellington Water in partnership with Fulton Hogan. The position offers the chance to effect great outcomes for the community and environment.
