The Project Manager for Olsson’s Rail Track Team will lead the delivery of complex terminal and intermodal rail projects from concept through completion, overseeing track and civil design, managing execution schedules, conducting quality control reviews, and developing cost estimates. The role also supports scope development, business development initiatives, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Key responsibilities include defining project scopes, schedules, and budgets, leading cross‑functional design teams, serving as the primary liaison for clients and internal stakeholders, monitoring progress, managing risks, ensuring compliance and top‑tier quality, mentoring team members, and building strong client relationships for future opportunities.
Candidates must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license, have at least eight years of rail track design experience, and possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Proven contract management, team leadership, strong communication, problem‑solving skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel are also required.
