Provide mechanical and structural engineering analysis in support of crane inspections, certifications, and repairs
Review inspection findings and develop engineering recommendations for corrective actions
Support load testing, condition inspections, and certification activities as required
Coordinate with senior engineers, inspectors, and Government representatives
Evaluate structural, mechanical, and load-bearing components of cranes and related equipment
Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable safety, security, and access requirements
Support audits, evaluations, and quality assurance activities
Review OEM documentation, drawings, and technical manuals
Prepare and review technical reports, engineering assessments, and supporting documentation

Familiarity with NAVFAC P-307 or similar industrial standards preferred.
Ability to lift engineering tools or equipment as needed.
Experience supporting Navy, DoD, or industrial facilities preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience supporting mechanical or structural systems.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
Ability to climb ladders and access equipment as required.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Ability to work in industrial and field environments.
