Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure project scope and vision are understood and implemented.
Holds key responsibility for client management and the ultimate success of the Project Team.
Collaborate with the architect, engineers, and construction team to ensure feasibility of each project.
Effectively communicate; generate professional written material and deliver valuable verbal presentations.
Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized.
Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, establish credibility and influence others.
Lead all phases of project execution-from preconstruction through closeout-ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while maintaining schedule and budget performance.
Review projects daily to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.
Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates and deliverables.
Attends weekly review meetings to collaborate with team on project progress, allocation of resources, and schedule.
Assist in establishing new accounts by providing estimates and participating in proposals and interviews.

Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.

Experience managing engineer-led design-build, design-bid-build or CMAR delivery methods.
Strong customer focus and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of general safe work practices.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field of study; five (5) - ten (10) years of experience in an operations, construction, or design role within the water and wastewater treatment facility, manufacturing or food & beverage industries; or the equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the position.
Possess a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and evidence of insurability is required.
Demonstrates a positive attitude, integrity and social/cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Must be 18 years of age or older to safely work in a construction environment.
Able to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
Able to think independently and problem solve.
Highly developed problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
Demonstrate interpersonal and presentation skills for frequent contact with clients and co-workers.
Manage change, embraces new ideas, team player, disagrees constructively.
Proficient in applicable computer programs including Microsoft and computer-based maintenance systems.

Familiarity with state and federal funding compliance (e.g., SRF, USDA Rural Development, CDBG).
Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.
Competent to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
Travel to other locations is occasionally required for meetings and trainings.
Experience with MEP coordination, process equipment, and treatment technologies preferred.
Must be able and willing to create and maintain a good working relationship with all employees within the team.
