Reporting to the Facilities Manager and Facility Operations Manager, the Painter ensures that all facilities and related equipment are maintained to the highest standards while fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism across all company levels.
Key responsibilities include supporting the maintenance team with punch‑list items, using proper personal protective equipment, maintaining a professional appearance, delivering high‑quality customer service, and performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and painting of walls, ceilings, trim, doors, fixtures, and various surface materials.
All employees must follow HSEQ policies, actively participate in related training, and contribute to the company’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and global resilience.
Success in this role depends on strict adherence to safety rules, company policies, and effective communication with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers, as well as collaboration with internal departments and participation in team meetings.
Ideal candidates have at least one year of commercial painting experience, solid knowledge of maintenance techniques for manufacturing and commercial buildings, basic math skills, and proficiency with computer hardware and software, along with strong reading, writing, and technical guidance abilities.
The role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, climb, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in environments with noise, fumes, chemicals, weather exposure, and potential electrical hazards, while also possessing the necessary vision capabilities.
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $17.00 and provides full‑time employees with medical, dental, life and disability insurance, plus a comprehensive leave program based on employment status.
