Tasks
The Warehouse Assistant will report directly to the Warehouse Foreman unless instructed otherwise The primary role of a Warehouse Assistant will be to provide organizational and administrative support to the Warehouse Foreman. This includes answering phones, maintaining records and inventory, and managing schedules for deliveries. -Plans and coordinates the internal delivery schedules to and from jobsites -Plans and coordinates the incoming vendor delivery schedule -Use safe work practices and promote safe practices. -Provide backup support for other team members. -Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company. -Must maintain the Wex platform -Complete required safety training. -Maintains filing -Notify Team Leader or Safety Director of any unsafe conditions. -Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively. -Maintain a positive demeanor – keep a smile on your face and “in your voice” -Must schedule the maintenance for fleet vehicles -Comply with all safety requirements set forth by Comfort Systems and OSHA

What You Bring
Preferred – At least 2 years of data entry experience Our highly qualified team of technicians and installation mechanics are educated and trained on the latest advancements in technology and industry standards. We regularly provide on-going training sessions conducted by industry professionals who are top in their field. Preferred – High School Diploma or Equivalent Our team includes a diverse mix of professionals who are highly proficient in the Mechanical, Plumbing and Service industry. This enables us to provide quality service and ensure that we will deliver our customers a successful job every time. Preferred – At least 2 years of customer service experience -Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally -Required - Ability to pass background check and obtain security clearance -Must have neat personal appearance -Required - Valid driver’s license and good driving record -Required - Ability to communicate effectively with others both written and orally -Required - Able to prove U.S. Employment eligibility -Must be courteous and respectful of others -Required – Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) -Required – Ability to sit, stand and/ or move around for long periods of time -Required – Able to work extended hours when necessary, nights and weekends -Proper PPE equipment must be used at all times. -Extensive software skills, Internet researching abilities and strong communication skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors are required -Required - Ability to pass drug screening(s) -Required - Strong organizational skills -Required - Willing to travel as required -Required – Strong record keeping skills -Required – Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis
