Senior Solutions Engineer

• Maintain awareness of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in robotics and automation.
• Assist in planning and coordinating project implementation with internal engineering and production teams.
• Travel to customer sites to support presentations, requirements gathering, and project assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, specify, and optimize automation solutions.
• Work closely with clients to understand operational needs, challenges, and goals.
• Prepare technical quotes, including materials, equipment, and labor requirements.
• Develop conceptual and practical solutions for custom automation and robotics systems.

Location: Atlanta, with travel required to client sites across the region.

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of custom automation and robotics solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys collaborating directly with clients, conceptualizing solutions, and turning complex requirements into practical, implementable designs.

• Experience in custom automation, robotics, or industrial equipment solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Previous exposure to quoting, solution design, or technical consulting preferred.
• Hands-on understanding of robotics, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Familiarity with system integration, materials selection, and process design a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Comfortable traveling to customer sites as required (~20%).
• Ability to create and present proposals, including technical specifications and cost estimates.
