Act as a deputy to the People & Culture Manager, with responsibility for supervising, mentoring, and coaching a small team
Lead and deliver workplace initiatives and projects that align with the Operational Plan and broader People Strategy
Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline and enhance HR systems, workflows, and documentation
Share knowledge, skills, and expertise within the team to strengthen internal employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) capability
Support managers in the development and execution of a broad range of workforce strategies and HR processes, including induction, performance and behaviour management, leadership development, succession planning, and the resolution of grievances and disputes
Partner with senior operations stakeholders to provide accurate, timely, and complex advice, including the interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements and internal policies to resolve workplace matters
Analyse workforce data and trends to produce monthly reports, and partner with managers to develop and implement action plans in response to key findings
Lead the Policies and Procedures Improvement Project, collaborating with international counterparts to ensure consistency, alignment, and standardisation across regions

You have extensive People and Culture experience within the aged care and/or retirement living sector
You hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources and/or have equivalent industry experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
You have proven experience in implementing strategic HR projects and initiatives that drive organisational performance and employee engagement
You are confident providing consultation and strategic HR advice to business leaders, including coaching and developing leadership capability in people management best practices
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
You have extensive People and Culture business partnering experience, where you have influenced and executed initiatives to enhance the workplace and empower leaders to embed and maintain change
You have a proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex employment relations matters with sound judgement and professionalism
You have sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
You bring excellent analytical, interpretive, problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills
