As a Tendering Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking and managing all electrical engineering requirements and deliverables on substation and renewable project tenders. This includes ensuring all tender submissions meet the required technical specifications and industry standards.
- Review supplier quotations for technical compliance and value engineering opportunities
- Provide input into tender programmes, budgets, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to prepare accurate, compliant tender submissions
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support the handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams
- Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and calculations
- Lead the electrical engineering aspects of substation and renewable project tenders
- Stay informed on new technologies and methods to improve cost, quality, and timescales
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations

- Safety-focused, proactive, and adaptable with a collaborative approach
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or higher) with 3+ years’ experience in substations, high/medium voltage, and renewables

- Proven tendering experience with strong knowledge of the substation, utilities, and renewables sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ePlan, MS Office; familiarity with ESB/EirGrid specifications an advantage
