As a Diesel/Truck Mechanic you will maintain a safe work environment while diagnosing, preventing, and repairing heavy‑duty diesel vehicles and equipment. Work includes engine and transmission rebuilds, electrical system servicing, welding, and handling road service calls using a company vehicle. Accurate record‑keeping, tool management, and shop cleanliness are essential.
Candidates should have at least three years of fleet or transportation maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and heavy‑duty vehicle systems. Strong independent work ethic, ability to read technical manuals and schematics, and knowledge of OSHA/DOT safety regulations are required. Preferred credentials include a Class A CDL, PA inspection license, HVAC certification, and DOT brake certification.
The position offers competitive hourly rates based on mechanic ranking (A: $42‑$46, B: $34‑$42, C: $27‑$34) plus a ranking‑specific signing bonus ranging from $4,000 to $15,000, paid in installments.
