Experience in working with design codes such as ASME BPVC Section III, RCC-M, BS EN 13480, BS EN13445.
Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification).
Understanding of systems engineering principles and the ability to apply V&V techniques across different phases of product development.
Proven strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Or if you are chartered with a relevant professional institute (or approaching application for registration).
Good working knowledge solid mechanics, engineering materials, structural and thermal engineering.
Experience in originating and progressing designs from concept through to detailed design, to a given set of requirements and constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to write accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports.
Ability to perform design calculations from first principles.
