

Act as primary interface for utility clients; maintain alignment on scope, schedule, and expectations.
Manage risks, issues, and change orders.
Prepare presentations and updates for internal and client leadership.
Build and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reporting.
Direct multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
Drive continuous improvement and strong client satisfaction.
Lead full project lifecycle for large transmission and substation programs (planning through closeout).
Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
10–20 years managing large transmission and substation projects.
Our client, a top-tier engineering consulting firm, is hiring a Project Manager to lead multimillion-dollar transmission and substation projects for accounts in the Tampa area. This role drives major grid-reliability and modernization work and requires strong technical depth and polished client-facing skills. Prior TECO and consulting-firm experience is strongly preferred.
Proven success delivering multimillion-dollar utility projects.
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering, or Construction Management.
Proficiency with MS Project, P6, or similar.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Engineering consulting background preferred.
TECO project experience required or strongly preferred.
Travel/relocation support as needed
Base salary: $150,000–$170,000
