

Produces HVAC, fire, security and building automation systems to optimize and protect buildings globally.
In this role you will conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning and detailed troubleshooting of building control systems while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will mentor control, service and mechanical technicians, complete required project documentation, and act as a trusted advisor by delivering solutions that improve building efficiency.
You will diagnose complex control system malfunctions, develop field proposals for retrofits and upgrades, and assist sales with technical recommendations. Coordination with branch managers, service managers, subcontractors and customers ensures efficient execution, while you uphold safety standards and provide onsite training.
Additional responsibilities include creating flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bills of material, network layouts and electrical schematics, assisting with software development, compiling as‑built documentation, and managing material orders and factory‑mounting processes.
The ideal candidate is a dedicated member of a North America branch team with at least four years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry, a vocational school or associate’s degree (or two years of relevant experience), and a proven ability to install and service electronic control systems. Strong communication skills, technical writing ability, and knowledge of control theory and building automation are required.
