Civil Science evaluates and determines on a case-by-case basis whether it is willing to sponsor an individual to receive a temporary or permanent work visa (e.g., E-3, H-1B, H-1B1, or TN visa status).
Civil Science is seeking a qualified CAD Designer to join our St. George, Utah team. In this exciting role you will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members to design a variety of civil engineering projects. Project types include large-scale land development, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal utilities. The ideal candidate for this position is someone that excels in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. We are eager to help the selected candidate grow his or her career and foresee this position growing into a larger role within our firm.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- Eagerness to learn and evolve within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- 4+ years of CADD experience in civil engineering profession or equivalent experience in educational setting.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong understanding of design principles and engineering
- Ability to set up and participate in activities, which may include squatting, bending, and lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
