Estimator

• Develop conceptual and detailed estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and solicit trade pricing.
• Routinely update estimating standards based on material costs and labor performance.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend bid meetings.
• Effectively prioritize efforts across multiple projects, delegating as needed.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications, and addenda.
• Effectively communicate with engineering, project management, purchasing, manufacturing, and finance.
• Network with client base to expand market awareness of Stellar Energy Manufacturing capabilities.
• Define modular project scale based on optimum equipment layout and selections.
• May participate in internal quality audits.
• Responsible for pre-construction coordination, estimating, sales, design and preliminary engineering of modular projects.
• Properly selecting equipment and project materials based on client specifications for modular Chilled Water, Boiler, and Electrical Solutions (equipment training available).
• Partner with customers to identify and define modular scope.
• Facilitate project kickoff, properly communicating all cost, scope, schedule and contract requirements to project team.

Job Description: Estimator will successfully complete pre-construction activities for modular Mechanical and Electrical solutions. A candidate with manufacturing estimator experience would be a strong fit. Someone with multi-disciplinary experience (piping, electrical etc.)

• Manufacturing estimator experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or management related discipline.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in construction industry.
• Multi-disciplinary experience (piping, electrical etc.)
• Ability to create and sustain relationships between Stellar Energy and owners, architects, strategic partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning.
