CHA Consulting is seeking a Business Practice Leader – MEP to guide its MEP practice across multiple locations or remotely, offering strategic vision, people leadership, and technical excellence.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (master’s preferred), possess a Professional Engineer license, and have at least 15 years of progressive engineering experience with proven leadership and financial management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) and PE license required
- Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering experience with expert knowledge of fundamentals and specialties
- Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office
- Deep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Proven leadership and team‑building abilities in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills for one‑on‑one, team, and large‑group settings
- Strategic mindset to position the practice for growth and technical excellence
- Demonstrated financial management experience with solid P&L comprehension
- Ability to manage confidential information, resolve issues quickly, and drive initiatives to completion
- Preferred participation in professional engineering societies
