Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact and strategic partner for Sales leadership, Product Management, and Project Management, ensuring pricing strategies effectively support sales objectives, financial objectives and project execution.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Quotation and Pricing Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. This includes performance management, coaching, and career development.
Operational Excellence: Manage the overall MAP team performance including for the queue and LOA, optimizing workflows and resource allocation to ensure timely, accurate, and responsive quotation delivery for all regions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration with the Standard Products Pricing team and other internal departments to ensure integrated and consistent pricing approaches.
Profitability & Risk Management: Monitor and analyze team performance against profitability targets, market trends, and competitive pressures. Implement adjustments as necessary to maximize business unit profit while mitigating commercial risks.
Process & System Improvement: Drive initiatives for process standardization and improvement within the MAP team. Collaborate closely with COMPAS support and IT teams to enhance pricing tools and systems (e.g., COMPAS GO, LOA tool). Identify ways for more efficiency using AI and machine learning.
Supplier Relationship Management: Oversee strategic relationships with key 3rd party suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and efficient cost acquisition for buyout products like substation transformers.
Strategic Pricing Oversight: Define, implement, and oversee strategic pricing guidelines and processes for large apparatus projects, ensuring alignment with business unit profit goals and market competitiveness. This will include using enhancement of the algorithms and use of AI to further streamline the process for the MAP team and our customers.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to Siemens’ pricing policies, procedures, and ethical standards across all team activities.
Key Growth – Distributor Sub-Segment: Be a key part in distributor sub-segment, ensure objectives and pricing strategies align with the distributor sub-segment strategy.

Strategic Pricing Expertise: Deep understanding and experience in developing and executing complex pricing strategies for large-scale projects within the electrical distribution industry.

7 plus years of progressive professional experience in the electrical distribution industry, and 3 plus years of experience in a leadership or management role overseeing pricing, quotations, sales, project management or similar commercial functions.
Advanced Analytical Skills: Exceptional critical thinking and analytical abilities to balance profitability, market dynamics, and competitive pressures in pricing decisions. Strong financial acumen and advanced math comprehension are essential.
Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, from team members to senior executives.
