Experience working on projects related to lead in drinking water
The position is based out of Knoxville, TN with some days (minimum 3 per 5 day work week including Mondays and Thursdays) working in the office and some days working from home. For candidates not currently located in Knoxville, a relocation stipend is available. This role has a target start date of November 15, 2025.
Experience in the water industry (could include internship experience)
Technical writing (grant/RFP) experience
Successful individuals in this role are highly motivated and able to work both within teams and independently. Candidates should be able to anticipate work that needs to be completed and be able to “wear many hats” by assisting with various duties across several projects.
- Ability to manipulate data in Excel and well versed in Excel formulas.
- Outreach and verbal communications (e.g., sending emails, making phone calls, meetings)
- Strategic thinking
- Working within GIS
- Infrastructure field work and assessments (no heavy machinery)
- Written communications (e.g., taking notes, creating presentations, drafting reports and other written deliverables)
- Degree in civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
