The School Crossing Supervisor role at Enfield Public School is a part‑time position designed for community‑focused individuals who want to make a positive impact on local safety. You will be a trusted presence in the school zone, helping ensure that children, parents, teachers and motorists all travel safely.
In this role you become a Road Safety Hero, earning the respect of families and becoming a familiar, supportive face around the school. Your daily duties involve supervising the designated crossing points during the morning and afternoon shift windows.
We are looking for reliable, community‑minded candidates who enjoy building relationships and keeping children safe, even in adverse weather. Effective communication skills and an alert attitude toward potential hazards are essential.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment are provided, and you must be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, police check, reference checks, and a health assessment, with assistance offered if needed.
Work hours are scheduled between 8:15 – 9:15 am and 2:30 – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 20 hours of supervision each fortnight. You will receive an hourly wage with superannuation, and you will also be paid for school holidays between Terms 1 and 3.
