Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering (any field), Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Fire Prevention or other related scientific fields.
Demonstrating the ability to work well under pressure.
Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience.
Communicating effectively orally and in writing, including the ability to make significant presentations to senior team and client management
Timely and cost effective performance of duties.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certified for lead abatement, asbestos abatement, confined space entry and respiratory protection.
Adherence to established CGS, LLC safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices.
Current valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Construction experience or Utilities experience.
Completed an average of at least 24 hours of formal safety and health related coursework every four (4) years.
Compliance with CGS, LLC Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures.
Completed the OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent within the last five years.
Five (5) years’ experience preparing and enforcing safety programs on contracts of similar size and complexity
Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point) at an intermediate level.
Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
Understanding client’s business needs and responding to them without compromising the integrity or profitability of all parties
Demonstrating skill in the use of MS Word and Excel at the intermediate or higher level.
Successfully completing all mandated training requirements per government and management directives
Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
