The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic accounts, typically large organizations with 500+ employees in the AEC sector, working closely with C‑level executives and internal teams to drive revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
In this role you will collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, Professional Services, Technical Support, and Legal/Security to guide customers through purchases, renewals, upsells, and cross‑sells, using Salesforce to track activity and forecast accurately.
- Manage key client relationships and develop account strategies to drive growth.
- Build long‑term client relationships to maintain and grow business.
- Identify challenges or opportunities and devise solutions for account success.
- Align business problems with appropriate Bluebeam solutions and offerings.
- Deliver value‑added solutions directly to clients.
- Achieve or exceed 100 % of annual quota.
- Produce high‑quality proposals and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain a proactive consultative approach with assigned customers.
- Serve as the initial Bluebeam contact for all assigned accounts.
- Negotiate value‑based agreements with customers.
- Record events and key metrics in Salesforce for assigned accounts.
- Accurately forecast revenue using Salesforce.
- Partner with internal business partners to develop professional relationships and initiatives.

The ideal candidate has global experience selling construction technology to AEC firms, a proven record of building long‑term relationships, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Slack, and other tools.
- Experience managing strategic accounts globally within the AEC/Construction Technology sector.
- Proven track record of sustaining long‑term client relationships in AEC/Construction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and adaptability to change.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Slack and related territory‑management tools.
- Ability to present effectively to all business levels, including the C‑suite.
- Collaborative work style across cross‑functional teams and regions.
