Our Major Projects team drives critical programmes that transform business and communities. As the Reporting and Governance Lead you will design and maintain frameworks that ensure transparency, compliance and high‑quality reporting across a portfolio of complex infrastructure projects. The role offers the chance to lead a talented team, influence strategic decisions and champion innovation in reporting and governance.
Key responsibilities include creating integrated performance reporting frameworks with dashboards and detailed project‑level data, synthesising complex information into clear insights for senior leadership, and establishing governance structures that meet internal and regulatory requirements. You will also ensure compliance through periodic reviews, audits and NEC contract governance, lead and mentor a high‑performing team, and build strong relationships with internal teams, supply‑chain partners and regulatory bodies.
The role requires proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint and Excel, as well as familiarity with NEC contracts and commercial management principles. Experience in regulatory reporting and compliance is essential.
Candidates must have proven experience leading PMO reporting and governance within large‑scale infrastructure or capital programmes, strong leadership skills, and excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities. A strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and value delivery is also required.
A relevant degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field, and professional certifications such as P3O, AMP, Prince2 or PMI are desirable. Experience in the utilities or water sector is advantageous.
