Driving On time project deliveries by effectively expediting Repair Projects at our partner shops/sites
Repair activities onsite and offsite co-ordination with cross functional teams – Engineering, Sourcing, Shop and Site Management (TFAs).
Shall support all the Regional Sales leaders for generation of Opportunity Leads for Repairs.
Devise ‘Make or Buy’ strategies – should be able to take quick and calculated decisions on how much of Repairs/Manufacturing needs to be done in house and how much to outsource to align with the market needs.
Maintain project documentation and drive Lessons Learnt for executed Repair Projects
Support Kaizen actions and Cost out to improve margins and hit rates on Repair Opportunities.
Support Qualification and Quality control of all critical escalations and First of its kind jobs required to serve Repairs/Upgrades.
Establish and maintain Customer connect to provide on-going technical and business support on installed fleet across India and few Designated Geographical areas
Should be able to define competency gaps in the Repair CoE, advise training programs for self-development as well as development members across functions.
Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of Pre-outage and Post Outage concerns on the installed fleet

Good understanding on Manufacturing of Large Steam Turbines/Generators (eg: rotors, stators, bearings, valves)
Willingness to travel extensively.
Should have about 10+ years of relevant experience in a Heavy Engineering industry.
Good understanding of Work/ time estimation and creation of activity based L3 schedule (preferably on Repair projects). A knowledge of packages such as MS Project is preferred.
Should be able to lead small cross functional teams by understanding job/process requirement, identifying right resources, communicating all stake holders effectively and following up closely to achieve targeted deadlines.
Familiar to Repair and Maintenance practices on Large Steam Turbogenerating sets and parts.
