Monitor progress of projects to proactively understand schedule, construction impacts and proposed mitigation measures to clearly communicate these items to stakeholders

Maintain stakeholder lists and build relationships with schools, businesses, health centers, and community organizations
Track construction-related outages (planned and emergency) for communication to key stakeholders
Maintain organized project documentation and photo records for visuals to share in communications materials
Plan and manage project signage, wayfinding, and hoarding
Host Public Information Centres and stakeholder meetings
Train and mentor junior staff in communications procedures and standards as required
Prepare and distribute notices, newsletters, maps, and event materials
Develop and maintain project Engagement Plans and communications
Participate in project kick-offs, bi-weekly reviews, and coordination meetings
Conduct Business and Institutional Care Program (BICP) surveys and regular check-ins with area businesses
Input project-level communications information into progress reports and communications calendars
Review Traffic Management and Construction Management Plans and understanding impacts to the travelling public, businesses, institutions and property owners
