The Project Director should have extensive experience in managing major roads, bridges, tunnels and infrastructure projects within a PMC and construction supervision scope. They must demonstrate strong capabilities in contract administration, claims management, risk management, quality, and commercial control, with a proven track record of leading contractors toward compliance and timely project delivery.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in commercial and contract control.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management and Construction supervision roles, overseeing project delivery from planning through to completion.
  • Over 20 years’ experience, including 12+ years as Project Director/Manager, with a degree and membership in a chartered institution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in claims management, including reviewing, administering, negotiating, and closing claims effectively.
  • Experience using project management and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage and monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and contractual requirements.
  • Familiarity with various contract types, and an understanding of their application in infrastructure projects.
  • A structured approach to project reporting, with experience organizing and leading meetings, ensuring transparency and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Practical skills in handling situations, including escalation protocols and contractual enforcement.
  • A solid background in roads and infrastructure projects, including bridges and tunnels , with direct involvement in design and construction phases.
