In the role you’ll support data‑center startups by performing on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems, and partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems. Clear communication and updates to customers and project teams keep progress smooth, and typical travel rotations follow schedules such as 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, or 14 on‑7 off, exposing you to new challenges and locations each project.
We’re opening our 2026 hiring pipeline for curious, adaptable problem‑solvers who love travel, hands‑on work, and being part of a team that actually knows your name. If you can laugh through flight delays, figure things out on the fly, and enjoy solving complex problems, this may be a perfect fit. Our four‑week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals, but success requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, so newcomers to these areas may not be the right match.
We look for candidates who love travel and can be away from home on rotations, have a working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, and demonstrate adaptability, grit, strong communication, and problem‑solving skills. Applicants must live within 50 miles of a major airport (relocation assistance available), have a personal vehicle within 45 days of employment, be authorized to work in the U.S., and possess a technical degree or equivalent 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a related field.
Physical requirements include the ability to walk long distances across large facilities, climb ladders or work at heights, lift and move up to 50 lb, and stand, kneel, or reach for extended periods while working in varied environments such as construction sites, outdoors, or extreme temperatures. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Working with us means combining work and travel: you’ll experience new cities, tackle unique projects, and earn travel rewards while working directly with customers across North America. There is no office to report to, and you’ll be away from home while you’re on the job.
Compensation starts at $60,000–$75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, plus per‑diem for meals, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses. We invest in your development through paid training, annual merit raises, and a guaranteed 5 % salary increase after six months, supporting both financial and career growth.
Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, a matching 401(k), short‑ and long‑term disability options, paid vacation, and flexible time off after 18 months. Our people‑first culture values teamwork, adaptability, and humor; every leader has grown into their role, so you’ll have a manager who walks the same path and a team that truly has your back.
